Admission requirements for the study of contemporary dance

• Candidates should have completed general high school education and have a dancing background (formal/informal dance education)

• Candidates must pass the contemporary dance audition

• Enrolment is open to young dancers who have just completed their secondary school education and wish to acquire an academic degree in contemporary dance.

Candidates must submit the following documents before enrolling in the programme:

• A certified copy of a high school certificate /diploma

• Medical documentation relating to their health state

• Candidates must have good knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken.

AUDITION DATE FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF CONTEMPORARY DANCE:

Ljubljana, Slovenia: 25.5, 13.7., 14.9., in 28.9. at 10 a.m. at Neubergerjeva 31.

Each candidate prepares about 2-minute solo dance performance in front of a three-member commission. The candidate himself provides music for the performance, which he/she brings one of the standard media (best on CD or USB stick in .mp3 format.  Or brings his/her own player or tablet). A solo dance performance can also be performed without music.

In case of interest, additional dates will be organised.
