Alma Mater Europaea - ECM started the celebrations in honour of its 10th anniversary with a festive academy, Christmas concert and reception for its students, teachers and friends.
At the gala academy, where the honorary speaker was prof. dr. Elmar Kuhn from the European Academy of Sciences and Arts, three titles of honorary senators were awarded, as well as special prizes and awards, handed in by prof. dr. Ludvik Toplak.
Honorary senators became: prof. emer. ddr. Marija Ovsenik, academician prof. dr. Božo Kralj and academician prof. dr. Zmago Turk. Special awards were given to Dijana Štiglic, Tina Kavtičnik, dr. Barbara Toplak Perovič, Tadeja Polanšček and Alen Pavlec. The volunteer of the year became Lana Ritlop. The following students were given awards for achieving best grades in their study programmes last year: Iva Boljat, Danijel Flisar, Rudi Jamnik, Alenka Šiplič, Andrej Laboda, Lidija Gradišnik, Helena Valerija Krieger, Ksenija Korenjak kramar, Irena Švab Kavčič, Pia Juršnik, Sara Sinanović, Petar Starbek, Tea Uršič, Lana Hoys, Kaja Kraner and Jasmina Klemenčič. The students' awards for project and research work were given to Urša Domajnko, Klara Hlade, Nina Homer, Nina Špes, Martin Zore, Almedin Muharemović, Špela Bobek and Špela Ekscelenski.
