
At the Third International Physiotherapy Congress in Kosovo, considered one of the key events in the field of physiotherapy in the region, Tatjana Horvat, head of the Alma Mater Therapy Institute, and Dr. Tine Kovačič, head of the Health Sciences study program, represented Alma Mater Europaea University.
As part of the plenary program, they presented the university’s scientific and research activities in key areas of modern physiotherapy, particularly in rehabilitation and developing pedagogical approaches in higher education.
On the sidelines of the congress, they met with Dr. Mike Landry, President of World Physiotherapy, Dr. Feim Gashi, President of the Kosovo Chamber of Physiotherapists, and representatives of the University of Pristina. The discussions focused on establishing long-term strategic cooperation, emphasizing joint international research projects, academic exchange, and strengthening regional professional networks.
A particularly notable moment was the presentation of the doctoral study program in physiotherapy at Alma Mater Europaea University, delivered by Dr. Tine Kovačič. The presentation significantly strengthened the university's international visibility and consolidated its role as a leading higher education and research institution in the healthcare field across the broader European area.
