The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Štajerska (Styria) presented the award at the Podravje Region Innovation Awards ceremony. This event, which promotes innovative thinking and action, is essential for recognizing and rewarding exceptional achievements in the field of innovation.

This year's call attracted 19 innovations, involving a total of 98 innovators. Among all the submitted innovations, Alma Mater Europaea University stood out with the most groundbreaking innovation, "Building Bridges Between Theory and Practice," which received the highest ratings and was recognized as the most significant contribution to social development.

With its outstanding achievement, Alma Mater Europaea and four other gold awardees advanced to the national selection organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia in collaboration with the Ministry of Economy, Tourism, and Sport and the Public Agency Spirit Slovenia.

The innovation awards will be officially presented at Innovation Day, which will take place on September 10, 2024.

With its innovation, "Building Bridges Between Theory and Practice," Alma Mater Europaea University demonstrates the importance of connecting academic research with practical application. This approach enhances the quality of education and contributes to a better understanding and resolution of social challenges.
