The 1st Artificial Intelligence and Law conference was organized by GV Založba in partnership with Alma Mater.
Dr Luka Martin Tomažič spoke about the new challenges of artificial intelligence and digitization problems in practice. "In the paper, I discussed the legal regulation of the implementation of artificial intelligence technologies in the operation of smart networks in the context of the Electricity Supply Act. I presented an example of the potential application of artificial intelligence in increasing the techno-economic potential for photovoltaic modules, including the necessary regulatory changes," he explains, adding that he advocates for the careful and reasoned removal of regulatory obstacles, the consistent implementation of the principle of the best available technologies and the active operation of system operators.
As many as 24 top lecturers presented topical topics at the event. The program managers of the event were Dr Verica Trstenjak, former Advocate General at the Court of Justice of the EU, and Marko Grobelnik, Jožef Stefan Institute, IRCAI, UNESCO International Center for Artificial Intelligence Research.
