ESA 2018: Art and Life
Alma Mater will host the annual conference of the European Association for Aesthetics ESA 2018 on the topic of Art and Life.
The conference programme will address the image of the modern world: from the aesthetic experience of TV series, aesthetics in the digital age in general; epistemological value of photography, the admiration of immorality, questions – according to which (ugly or beautiful) algorithms we live, scepticism, the meaning of life, the ratio between ethics- aesthetics to the question, what does everyday aesthetics stand for...
Keynote speakers include: Robert Hopkins (New York), Giovanni Matteucci (Bologna), and Catrin Misselhorn (Stuttgart).
ESA conference 2018 will be organised together with the Slovene Association for Aesthetics, Alma Mater Europaea ISH and Alma Mater Europaea ECM.
