Exciting news! The students of Alma Mater Europaea University have established the first University Rotaract Club in Slovenia, bringing together young people with a passion for humanitarian projects and community development.
Alma Mater focuses on developing humanitarian professions, where volunteering and humanitarian content are essential, aligning with Rotary's mission as an international humanitarian organization.
"A motivated team of students, already very active in charitable activities, will gain additional opportunities for international networking and personal development through Rotaract. As the president of the Rotary Club Maribor, I am honored that we will sponsor the new club," said Dr Luka Martin Tomažič.
The official Charter will take place in the fall of 2024.
