"Alma Mater collaborates with the Academic Computing Center Cyfronet AGH in medical and health applications in deep learning, such as models for predicting orthostatic intolerance. I sincerely congratulate the academic research community on their 50th-anniversary celebration event and wish them successful work and continued constructive cooperation with Alma Mater in the field of applied artificial intelligence, which is also one of the main topics in the use of the AGH Cyfronet, Prometheus, Ares, and Athena computing infrastructure. "
The Academic Computer Center Cyfronet AGH was founded in 1973. It was founded by the Rectors' Council members of the University of Krakow. In 1971, they proposed to the state authorities to purchase a modern, large, and multi-access computer for Krakow and establish a scientific community and an inter-university computer center. Today, Cyfronet AGH is a specialized competence center in distributed cloud computing infrastructures and GRID computing and has unique experience in building, maintaining, and developing integrated service platforms for the scientific community.
