Professor Dr. Anja Hellmuth Kramberger attended the most significant annual archaeological congress in Europe, held under the auspices of the European Association of Archaeologists from August 30 to September 2, 2023.
This year's EEA annual meeting took place in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Dr. Hellmuth Kramberger described the event: "For the twenty-ninth time, archaeologists from all over the world gathered, exchanging knowledge and ideas on a wide range of archaeological topics through more than a hundred panels." She presented at the conference alongside Dr. Marko Mele, the scientific director of the Universalmuseum Joanneum in Graz.
"In my presentation, I focused on a field known as Archaeogaming, which explores, among other things, the representation of archaeology in video games and the use of archaeological methods within them," added Assoc. Prof. Dr. Anja Hellmuth Kramberger.
