The Alma Mater Europaea University is hosting world-renowned cybersecurity expert Daniel Garnham.
As part of his guest lecture for the Cybersecurity in Special Business and Public Systems course, he will provide students with up-to-date knowledge and practical examples of cybersecurity.
The lecture will cover key challenges and practices related to cybersecurity in various business and public systems, with a special focus on protecting sensitive data and preventing and responding to cyberattacks.
Daniel Garnham is a cybersecurity expert with over 20 years of experience as a UK police cybercrime investigator and digital trainer. His career includes leading the implementation and auditing of the ISO27001 cybersecurity standard and global training for Interpol, the United Nations, and the Council of Europe. Garnham has also taught law enforcement agencies in six Eastern European countries.
He has been named one of the top 25 security influencers in the UK and is the founder and head of the UK Cyber and Physical Security Trade Union. Additionally, he has created courses on cybercrime, digital forensics, and cybersecurity for Arden University in London and offers consulting services through his company, GSG Consultancy.
Alma Mater students and IT staff will gain valuable insights into best practices for protecting against cybersecurity threats.
