Jiwat brings over two decades of combined academic and industry experience, having taught a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Business Analytics, Project Management (Agile and Predictive), Project Risk, Project Quality Management, and Research Methods. He has delivered these courses in face-to-face, hybrid, and fully online formats, consistently earning high student satisfaction ratings.

With a Ph.D. in in Computer & Information Sciences, MBA (International Business) and B.Eng. (Civil Engineering) and experience of working in managerial and leadership roles, Jiwat is a dynamic and innovative academic with deep interdisciplinary expertise. His scholarship and teaching address the real-world integration of AI, data analytics, and project management—building next-generation professionals ready to lead in a fast-evolving, digital-first world.

Research & Publications

Jiwat has a large, variegated portfolio of more than 150 scholarly contributions, including 38 peer-reviewed journal articles and over ninety industry oriented publications on some of the pressing issues in use of artificial intelligence, machine learning and project management.

His research has been published in journals such as Technological Forecasting and Social Change, International Journal of Production Economics, International Journal of Project Management, and Journal of Engineering and Technology Management.

Leadership & Service

Jiwat led the launch and development of MSc Project Management programs (full- and part-time) with responsibility for curriculum development, team coordination, and teaching a variety of courses on the program. He has also served as PhD Program Director, overseeing academic governance, admissions, student support, and quality assurance. Jiwat also has the experience of developing institution-wide academic tools such as Working Paper Series and newsletters, while supervising numerous MSc and Bachelor theses and dissertations, ensuring methodological rigor and industry relevance.

• Industry roles in multinational banking (including HSBC and NBP), entrepreneurship, and service management organizations, enriching his applied teaching in AI and management.
• Delivered faculty development, and AI literacy seminars.
• Certified in Data Science, AI Ethics, and Data driven decision-making by MIT-IDSS, Oxford online, Harvard Business School Online, and University of Helsinki.
