Work at the clinic is carried out together with other students of physical medicine, doctoral students, and physiotherapists. "I am pleased I can be a part of this because it is an exceptional opportunity for an individual's professional development," says Lana. She adds that the clinic currently accepts earthquake victims in eastern Turkey suffering from severe spinal injuries.

"Even though it is now the worst winter in central Turkey, this also has advantages because it is much more pleasant to drink hot Turkish coffee. Mount Erciyes, after which the university is named, also has the largest ski resort in Turkey, where we are going with the rest of the students next week," says Lana Ritlop. She concludes that she will be in touch again soon and share new experiences with us.
