More than 1,200 participants from 16 different countries


Alma Mater Europaea - ECM has successfully completed the International Week at Alma Mater, which ended with a conference: All about people.

More than 1,200 participants in three days, from 16 different countries and more than 300 active authors of papers is the conclusion of the 5th International Scientific Conference All about people: interdisciplinarity, transnationality and building bridges, which took place from 9 - 11. 3. 2017 on Alma mater Europaea - ECM in Maribor under the auspices of the President of the Republic of Slovenia, Borut Pahor and the European Academy of sciences and arts.

"The conference and all accompanying events such as the exhibition All the same, all equal, which was opened in cooperation with the police and Assoc. prof. Arne Hodalič, after the visit, and content exceeded our expectations," said prof. dr. Ludvik Toplak, President of Alma Mater Europaea - ECM.

Among the guests were: prof. dr. dr. Felix Unger, President of the European Academy of Arts and Sciences, prof. dr. Tadej Bajd, President of SAZU, Prof. dr. Žekš, Advisor to the President of the RS, nj. eks. Sarvajit Chakravarti, Ambassador of India, Prof. dr. Ivo Šlaus, Lojze Peterle MEP, Dr. Elmar Kuhn, prof. dr. Michail V. Larin, dean of the Russian State University for the Humanities, doc. dr. Voyko Kavcic, Wayne State University and many other distinguished guests.

Alma Mater Europaea - ECM has also signed agreements on international cooperation with UNISRITA Universita Santa Rita, namely the Memorandum of cooperation in the fields of medical science, physiotherapy and nursing, with RGGU Russian State University for the Humanities Memorandum on cooperation in the field of archival studies and LIU (Lebanon International University) Memorandum of cooperation in the field of doctoral and master's studies.
