Professor Mertik at the largest neuroscience forum

At the invitation of the Jagiellonian University, Professor Matej Mertik addressed the students and researchers of the largest neuroscience forum in Poland, Neuronus 2024, with the introductory lecture "Integrative Approaches in Impulse Neural Networks: Bridging Machine Learning, Computer Science, and Neurobiology."

More than 600 participants attended the event, which took place in the Auditorium Maximum of the Jagiellonian University in Krakow.

With distinguished speakers and an academic atmosphere, the Neuronus forum represents one of the largest and most important scientific events in the European calendar, as it is a communication platform that connects various areas of neuroscience, including the rapid development of artificial intelligence in recent years. The conference consists of many lectures on neuroscience's biological, cognitive, computational, and medical aspects, and the Neuronus platform represents a dynamic environment for knowledge exchange and scientific development.

Artificial intelligence is one of Alma Mater Europaea University's strategic research areas, and it is being developed within the doctoral study program Applied Artificial Intelligence.
