Project Young EU Voices, all-European screening programs for early detection of cancer
The AMEU ECM students and professor successfully completed the project Young EU Voices in cooperation with AS television from Murska Sobota.
They recorded a set of three shows about all-European screening programs for early detection and prevention of cancer. In March and April, the students of the study programs of social gerontology and physiotherapy talked with experts from the field of the screening programs and politics in Slovenia and the European Parliament in Strasbourg.
Twenty-minute shows are broadcast on local Slovenian televisions, during preparations for the European elections in May. The main aims of the shows are to raise people's awareness about cancer and its prevention, as well about the work and importance of European institutions.
