Lana Ritlop, a master's student in health sciences, has been elected as the new president of the Student Council at Alma Mater Europaea. At the same time, Ema Štembegar, studying physiotherapy, has assumed the role of vice president.
Dr. Barbara Toplak Perovič introduced the newly elected councilors to the Student Council's tasks and mission. She also discussed NAKVIS's initiative to appoint a guardian for student rights and informed the councilors about opportunities to organize student projects.
The appointment of student representatives to the committees of Alma Mater Europaea – ECM is as follows:
- Senate: Lana Ritlop, Ema Štembergar, Josefina Prislan Urek
- Commission for study matters for medical programs: Josefina Prislan Urek
- Committee on Study Affairs for Social Gerontology: Postponed to the next meeting
- Committee on study matters for business programs: Šoba method
- Committee on study matters for archival science: Postponed to the next meeting, pending a proposal from management
- Commission for elections to the title: Sebastian Pečnik
- Commission for scientific research and development work: Suzanna Mežnarec Novosel
- Quality Commission: Bor Moškon
- Disciplinary committee at the 1st level: Kim Juršnik
- Disciplinary commission at the 2nd level: The Shoba method
The Alma Mater Student Council's work plan for early 2024 includes organizing a carnival and a student picnic and reorganizing the Kinesio taping and medical flossing course. Collaborating with tutors, they plan to organize sports competitions and professional excursions.
Student Council President Vid Vedlin also briefed the members on the 16th student conference in health sciences and encouraged active participation.
