Bor Sojar Voglar (1979) is a two-time national champion in standard and Latin-American dancing, and he was third at the Blackpool Dance Festival with his dance partner Katarina Bergant. He cooperated in many full-length dance shows as a choreographer, as well as a screenwriter, director, and director of photography in short and full-length films, which were shown at Slovenian and international film festivals. He graduated and acquired a doctorate in psychology at the Faculty of Arts at the University of Ljubljana. He is researching vestibular senses and detection of own movement. Recently, he has been editing music for full-length dance shows and dance performances of world class dancing couples. He achieved many noticeable achievements in music editing at international competitions. He lectures subject of psychological methodology at the Psychology department at the University of Maribor, he works as rehabilitation consultant at the Employment Service of Slovenia, and is the manager of the Institution for Development of AV Media Culture.
PSYCHOLOGY OF LEARNING
The subject offers students the basic laws of learning process, psychological development of humans, structure of capabilities, creativity, motivation, learning habits, cognitive styles, personality, and unconscious mental activity. The subject consists of three segments of self-cognitive exercises and theoretical lectures, where we meet key players of psychological theories and most important notions for suitable teaching and learning of dance.
