Building strong partnership

Alma Mater Europaea – ECM, the University North, and the University of Mostar agreed to cooperate in establishing joint study programs, promoting research activities with an interdisciplinary approach, and implementing modern digital tools and technological achievements.

The agreement was signed by the Rector of the University of Mostar, Dr Zoran Tomić, president of Alma Mater Europaea – ECM, Dr Ludvik Toplak, and the Rector of the University North, Dr Marin Milković. They are also committed to developing new and updating existing study programs emphasizing IT.

After the ceremonial departure, the delegations toured the campus of the University of Mostar, visited the University Television - SUM TV and the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts of Bosnia and Herzegovina, where they were hosted by the president of HAZU, academician Dr Mladen Bevanda.

Establishing this strong partnership results from synergistic and constant monitoring of the current needs of the labor market. All three rectors emphasize the importance of an interdisciplinary approach, the necessity of applying modern digital tools in achieving learning outcomes that correspond to the new skills needed to work in a digital business environment, and the use of artificial intelligence. In addition to the above, one of the main goals is the establishment of joint study programs at the three higher education institutions: Applied Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security, European Business Studies, and other accredited study programs.
