Candidates for MEPs were challenged by Alma Mater students

The Alma Mater Student Council, ŠOAM and Alma Mater Europaea - ECM hosted a roundtable on the topic "Slovenes and Europe in light of education, science and employment policy" before the European elections on May 26, 2019. Participants at his round table list were candidates for MEP from most parliamentary parties. The event was moderated and directed by dr. Rosvita Pesek with interesting questions. Alma Mater hosted Student conference NEVROFEST

The Student organisation of Alma Mater together with the Society of Medical students of the University of Maribor joined forces and organised a two-day student conference Neurofest. The conference was held in Maribor on November 23 and 24, 2018 at Alma Mater Europaea – ECM. More than 150 students signed up.

Grand Hotel Union was the premise of the 11th European Congress on Integrative Medicine last weekend. Organised by Alma Mater Europaea, there were over 300 delegates from all over the world, presenting 170 papers.

11th European congress for integrative medicine (ECIM)

The 11th European congress for integrative medicine (ECIM) will be held between 21 and 23 September in Hotel Union Ljubljana. The congress will be held under the auspices of the President RS, Mr. Borut Pahor, and in the organisation of Alma Mater Europaea - ECM and with cooperation of the Association of Integrative Medicine of Slovenia.

AMEU lecture on Salafism, violent radicalism and terrorism

Alma Mater Europaea ECM organised a short lecture on Salafism, violent radicalism and terrorism as the final dissemination activity of the project MATES. MATES was carried out in 2016 and 2017 together with partners from Italy, Spain, Portugal, Germany and Estonia. The lecture took place on Thursday, 28.6.2018 in the large auditorium of AMEU ECM in Maribor.
