The Alma Mater Europaea - ECM graduate Health Sciences program trains current and future health professionals from a variety of disciplines by developing and enhancing research, evaluative and planning skills.

Current challenges facing health care systems worldwide offer a wide array of opportunities for health sciences professions to improve approaches to health care. Guided and mentored by the Alma Mater Europaea - ECM faculty, you will develop strong research skills and discover new knowledge and novel ways of solving problems. In the second year of the study program students choose a specialty from four modules: Physical therapy, Nursing, Public health or Integrative health sciences.

Associate Professor Helena Blažun Vošner has completed her pre-doctoral studies at Johns Hopkins University, she completed her first doctorate at the University of Maribor in the field of Organization and Management, and the second at the University of Eastern Finland in the field of Health Sciences. Her research interest is focused on the development of health sciences, quality of health services, health informatics. She is the author of numerous scientific and professional articles, many of which have been published in journals with a high impact factor. She has participated in numerous international, national and bilateral projects, currently participating in the AWARE, SRiP-PMiS, Integrated Home Care and EU STAMINA projects. Assoc. prof. ddr. Helene Blažun Vošner is also a member of the SRiP-PMiS Program Council, and she is also a reviewer of numerous journals with an impact factor.


Most experts agree that major advances in the improvement of health in the future will not come from new medical breakthroughs or cures, but rather from the broader development and application of population-based prevention programs. The Alma Mater Europaea - ECM master's program in Health sciences aims to develop a dynamic, vital, and productive community of future leading health sciences professionals.
