Students of Environmental studies won the challenge Climathon Maribor 2018.
Students of the Master study programme of Alma Mater in Environmental studies (Ecoremmediations) won the challenge Climathon Maribor 2018.
Participants of the Climathon Maribor 2018 competition (more about the event HERE) were searching for solution for two challenges:
1. how to create green areas, such as green roofs or vertical gardens in the city; and how to enrich them with biofuels at the same time.
2. How to reduce the amount of waste and energy consumption?
In addressing the challenges, the Black&Green group won with the presentation of their idea on building green areas on city roofs in the city center by using biofuel. Congratulations to the study dean of the study programme, assist. prof. dr. Tanja Bagar and to the winning group.
