Ljubljana

Maribor

Maribor is the second largest city in Slovenia. In 2012 it was the European Capital of Culture and in 2013 it was the European Youth Capital. It is the hometown of many famous and internationally renowned artists and sportsmen, the most successful football club in Slovenia, the oldest vine in the world, the second oldest synagogue in Europe, host of the ladies FIS alpine skiing world cup… Maribor has a large student population and is a popular destination for exchange students.

Murska Sobota

Murska Sobota is the biggest town in the northeastern part of Slovenia and the regional capital of Prekmurje.
