The duties and responsibilities of the Committees are:
- considers and gives a written opinion on higher education programs and their changes to the Senate,
- evaluates study programs for improvement and provides a written opinion on them to the Senate,
- examines the report on the effectiveness of the study programmes and prepares written suggestions for improvement for the senate,
- deals with the annual plan for the implementation of study programs and gives a written opinion on it to the Senate,
- makes proposals to the Senate for amendments and additions to existing regulations in the field of education and proposes new regulations,
- considers the proposals of the Student Council,
- performs activities in the field of ECTS,
- makes proposals on transitions between study programmes,
- makes proposals on the recognition of previously passed exams when students transfer to Alma Mater Europaea,
- performs other duties in accordance with the rules and resolutions of the Senate
DATES OF PLANNED SESSIONS OF THE ACADEMIC AFFAIRS COMMITTE AND ISH SENATE for the academic year 2024/25
- Committee members will only consider complete and timely applications. Students can submit applications electronically to the competent department, submit them via VIS or send them by post to the address of the competent department. Applications for:
- conditional enrolment,
- status extension,
- obtaining status of a student with special needs,
- obtaining status of a student with a special status,
- repeating the year and enrolling in a gap year,
- registration of thesis proposal and final thesis (for 1st and 2nd Bologna cycle)
- requests to extend the validity of the final thesis
- requests to change the mentor or topic of the final thesis
Students will be notified of the committee's decision within 10 working days after the date of the meeting to their almamater.si email address.
All applications related to the doctoral process are handled by the Committee for Scientific and Research Work. Applications from students of the ISH Faculty are dealt with by the ISH Senate. Other applications are dealt with by different Committees, separately according to the study programme, which are listed below.
