Project description:
The main general goal of the project is to improve the quality and efficiency of teaching and learning in higher education and to empower individuals and institutions in higher education to actively respond to the challenges of preparing students for work and life in the 21st century in cooperation with other stakeholders and by exchanging good practices.
The project will contribute to the result of the selected program, as it will improve the cooperation and integration of institutions at all levels of formal and informal education. Kristiania University College, one of the oldest private higher education institutions in Norway, which is recognized for its high-quality teaching practices and provision of active, student-centered learning environments oriented to practice and the needs of society, is actively involved in the project as a partner. By establishing cooperation with selected partners and other stakeholders in Norway, teachers, management of institutions, training providers and political decision-makers will gain access to modern, student-centered practices, which will give them the opportunity to compare these practices with existing practices in the Slovenian environment and find areas for improvement. improvements. In doing so, the project will empower individuals and institutions to participate more actively in the development of higher education at local, national and international levels and provide high-quality learning experiences for staff and students, thereby increasing their effectiveness and contribution to education and society as a whole.
Objectives of the project:
Through institutional cooperation, identify and use the fundamental characteristics of pedagogical practices that are consistent with the principles of active learning for the development of key competencies for the 21st century in higher education.
To develop and expand new practices and learning environments that are based on the principles of active learning for the 21st century, and to ensure the development and sustainability of active learning environments throughout higher education in Slovenia.
Design a network of interactive learning environments for innovative teaching and building a community of practice in active learning pedagogy at all levels of formal and informal education in higher education.
