Alma Mater Europaea – European Center, Maribor participates as a partner in the VIS A VIS project, which is co-financed with the funds of the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2014 – 2021, within the framework of the Education – strengthening of human resources program.
Project description:
The VIS A VIS project addresses several challenges in the field of autism in Slovenia. We are a group of various non-governmental and private organizations united by the idea that changes are necessary and possible in the field of autism. We also want to achieve some of them with this joint project.
Purpose of the project:
The purpose of the project is to obtain data on the number of people with autism in Slovenia, to train multipliers for the development of a new model of support for employees in education and training and for employers and employees at employment agencies for the successful teaching and employment of people with autism, and to develop this model as well.
Project goals:
The goal of the project is to establish such an effective model of support for employees in education and training, at the Employment Agency and employers, that through institutional cooperation at all levels of education and employment, we will improve the conditions for learning and employability of persons with autism.
