Erasmus + mobility for students

Alma Mater Europaea aims to provide students and young graduates with valuable experience from abroad, to enhance their future study and career opportunities, develop personal and professional traits, knowledge of foreign languages ​​and intercultural awareness. Erasmus+ Mobility exchange program is a valuable experience and an excellent investment for future career, home or abroad. Students may choose to participate in a study exchange at a partner university or conduct a traineeship abroad.

Students can choose between two types of mobility abroad:

  • study exchange to a partner university, or

  • internship/ practice aborad

and receive Erasmus+ scholarship.

Mobility of students and young graduates

Students may take part in Erasmus+ program for up to 12 months at each level of study. Each 12-month period may consist of any combination of mobility for the purpose of study and/ or traineeship.

One may attend traineeship abroad as a recent graduate. In this case, the traineeship must occur within one year of the graduation date. The application to Erasmus+ mobility must be submitted while still being enrolled to Alma Mater Europaea.

You must be enrolled to Alma Mater to attend a study exchange or traineeship abroad. The mobility abroad must be connected to the study program you are enrolled in. Students of all study programs and levels of study can opt for Erasmus+ program.

Duration of mobility

Long-term mobility:

  • mobility for study or traineeship must last a minimum of 2 months and a maximum of 12 months.

Short-term blended mobility:

  • in case the long-term mobility is not possible, you can plan a short-term mobility, which must last a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 30 days,

  • must consist of a virtual and a physical part,

  • you must receive a minimum of 3 ECTS for the mobility.

Mobility for doctoral students:

  • as a doctoral student, you can choose between long-term study exchange or internship (by months) or

  • short-term mobility, which should last a minimum of 5 days and a maximum of 30 days. Virtual part is not necessary.

The length of mobility depends on the resources available.

Participating countries

  • member states of the European Union + Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Turkey, North Macedonia and Serbia.

  • other countries of the world (exceptionally/ by agreement).
