Alma Mater Europaea University, as the initiator of the strategic international project SI-AAI-RHI (Slovenian Applied AI Research & Innovation Hub), is leading Slovenia’s application for the Teaming for Excellence call, funded by the European Union. The project aims to establish a Slovenian Center of Excellence for the development of ethical, inclusive, and sustainable artificial intelligence of the future.

“We see that attacks leveraging artificial intelligence are evolving and learning from their mistakes. It is a battle of machine versus machine. AI is used offensively and defensively. Human oversight is necessary to maintain balance,” emphasized Daniel Garnham, visiting professor from the UK and cybersecurity expert, during a recent roundtable at Alma Mater Europaea University, organized by the Department of Web and Information Technologies.

Physiotherapists Raise Awareness About Multiple Sclerosis

On World Multiple Sclerosis Day, observed on May 30th, physiotherapy students from Alma Mater, in collaboration with the Multiple Sclerosis Society Maribor, organized an informational stand to raise awareness about the importance of regular physical activity. They also introduced the general public to basic exercises and motor skills testing.
