At the jubilee 20th Festival for the Third Age (F3ŽO), which took place from 29 September to 1 October in Cankarjev dom in Ljubljana, Alma Mater presented its study program in social gerontology and related projects.

Iza Gobar, a 29-year-old physiotherapist who completed her studies at Alma Mater, recently became a world champion in freestyle massage technique. The World Championships, which took place in Denmark, brought her new experiences and additional motivation to continue her career as an independent physiotherapist.

NAKVIS, the Slovene Accreditation Agency has given a green light to the Alma Mater Europaea - ECM Master's program Health Sciences – special field Autism, that is to start in the new academic year.

10 years of Alma Mater

Alma Mater Europaea - ECM started the celebrations in honour of its 10th anniversary with a festive academy, Christmas concert and reception for its students, teachers and friends.

Inauguration of the bust of dr. Ignaz Semmelweis

On the occasion of the 200th anniversary of the birth of a Hungarian doctor, a humanist and a scientist dr. Ignaz Semmelweis, his bust was unveiled in the park in from of clinic of UKC Maribor. The bust was a present of the Semmelweis University (Budapest) to its academic partner Alma Mater Europaea - ECM.

Celebrities serving in Nana for a good cause

The student organisation of Alma Mater is together with the Bistro/Bar Nana and the Association of students of medicine organising a charity event Znani v Nani – Celebrities serving in Nana. Their salaries and tips they will receive will be dedicated to Anja, who has cerebral palsy and needs financial support to have a better life.
